The ARCASIA 20th Asian Congress of Architects (ACA20), hosted by the United Architects of the Philippines, was held from September 17–23, 2023, on Boracay Island, Philippines. Centered on Asia’s response to transformative change—a vision promoted by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)—the congress focused on fostering resilient, adaptive, and learning-driven cultures in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ar. Shafique Rahman was invited to present a research poster at the congress, offering a meaningful platform to share his work and engage in thoughtful dialogue with architects and researchers from across Asia. This participation allowed us to contribute to wider conversations on sustainable and responsive design within the region’s evolving architectural landscape.
