We are honored to share that our design proposal has been selected as a finalist in the international competition “Nigeria: Home After Crisis,” organized by Young Architects Competitions in partnership with the International Organization for Migration and the Nigeria Humanitarian Fund. The design focused on creating safe, modular, and culturally responsive housing for communities in northeast Nigeria who have been displaced by conflict—a region where millions have lost not only shelter, but also the sense of belonging and safety that defines a home.
Our approach was centered on the idea that a home is more than a structure—it is a place of dignity, memory, and renewal. Being chosen as a finalist reaffirms our commitment to design that addresses humanitarian needs with both empathy and innovation, and it inspires us to continue pursuing architecture that serves people with both beauty and purpose.
