The abode is designed for a professional couple who seeks refuge from the crowd and the constant distractions of modern life, choosing instead a calm, contemplative environment where creativity and learning can unfold. Located on a sky-level floor, the apartment is conceived as a 1,160 sq ft compact studio, embracing the philosophy of minimal living.
The interior is inspired by Mediterranean warmth, reinterpreted with a modern touch through the Cinnamon Slate palette, where muted earth tones and soft contrasts choreograph a serene rhythm, leading daily life toward a path of visual and emotional release.
The journey begins in the open living and dining area, a clean rectangular volume for breathing, talking, and simply being together away from the outside world. A breakfast counter unifies the kitchen and dining, nurturing both intimacy and flow.
A colorful corridor extends from this social heart, acting as a transitional gallery. This passage is more than circulation; it is a curated experience of light and hue. It culminates in a sunlit workstation bathed in daylight and ventilation—a dedicated haven for creativity. Here, work feels like a form of meditation, framed by views and flooded with natural inspiration. The bedroom merges with the outdoors through full-height folding glass doors, opening entirely to a terrace and the expansive view of the 300-foot road beyond. When open, the boundary between inside and outside dissolves, creating a profound sense of freedom. Adjacent, a spacious washroom and a thoughtfully designed walk-in closet serve as a private spa and dressing suite—a realm of organized calm tailored for two.
The balcony, lush with greenery and furnished with a swing and seating, serves as the final verse of this domestic poem. It is an extension of the interior soul—a place to feel the breeze, glimpse the sky, and remember the natural world just beyond the glass. It is not just a home but a restorative instrument—a minimal, lyrical space where chaos is filtered out, and creativity, connection, and quietness can truly bloom.
