Engr. Zia Uddin Ahmed is a skilled Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC, refrigeration, and fire protection system design, with around eight years of professional experience in Bangladesh. He graduated with a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) in 2012 and is a Candidate Member of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB).

Currently, he serves as Technical Director at BANMECH Limited, where he has been working since 2014. In this role, he is responsible for complete system design, preparation of technical specifications and tender documents, cost estimation, tender evaluation, and top-level supervision of installation and commissioning works. Prior to this, he worked as a Design Engineer for Fire Safety and HVAC systems at AVE Engineers & Consultants Ltd., gaining strong foundations in engineering design and project supervision.

His professional portfolio includes major commercial, industrial, hospitality, healthcare, power plant, and institutional projects. Notable works include American International School Dhaka, Le Méridien Hotel, IFIC Bank Tower, British American Tobacco facilities, Robi Axiata corporate and warehouse projects nationwide, Square Group textile and garments factories, Berger Paints industrial plants, and several power plants and hotels across Bangladesh. With strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and engineering documentation, Engr. Zia Uddin Ahmed brings practical expertise, technical precision, and project-oriented leadership to complex mechanical engineering projects.
