The ARCASIA 20th Asian Congress of Architects (ACA20), hosted by the United Architects of the Philippines, was held from September 17–23, 2023, on Boracay Island, Philippines. Centered on Asia’s response to transformative change—a vision promoted by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)—the congress focused on fostering resilient, adaptive, and learning-driven cultures in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. A conceptual competition project by Trikon Architects was selected for inclusion in “GMT+6,” a publication launched by the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB) for the UIA World Congress of Architects 2023. The book showcases award-winning and notable designs from Bangladesh that were presented at the international forum, representing the creative vision and architectural thought emerging from the country. Ar. Shafique Rahman attended the UIA World Congress of Architects 2023 in Copenhagen as a nominated representative of the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB).
