We are honored to have secured the First Position in a prestigious National Architectural Design Competition organized by the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB) and Oxfam in Bangladesh. The winning project, located in Chandpur Sadar, Chandpur, focuses on designing improved living solutions for the local nomadic boat-dwelling community. The design philosophy centered on creating minimal, respectful interventions—such as an enhanced boat module and redesigned jhupri (hut)— to foster better health, safety, and sustainability without compromising the community's cultural heritage and lifestyle. Three of our unbuilt architectural projects were selected for display at the IAB Unbuilt Projects Exhibition, held as part of Bangladesh’s leading building material expo—IAB Build Expo 2023—at the Bangladesh China Friendship Conference Centre (BCFCC).
